Reiki Training
Reiki is a kind of hands-on energy healing, which was developed by Mikao Usui in Kyoto, in the 1920s, almost exactly 100 years ago. There are at least two competing versions of the history and the spread of Reiki outside Japan, which we will not introduce here as it will take a long time and the whole affair is colonially and racially inflected. What is not disputed is that Reiki is a kind of healing practice, which involves touch and the intention to channel, Reiki, or Universal Chi. Those who know about the practice are aware that Reiki has in common with other similar practices an attention to the body's energy centers, the chakras.
Among the many things we learned during the COVID 19 pandemic is that online Reiki training works very well. Over the past year, Denise has trained almost 20 persons in all three levels of Reiki. All of them have reported the same ability to channel Reiki as have those we have trained in person, in the past. We will periodically offer Reiki I, II, and III (Master Level Courses). REIKI LEVEL 1
24 - 26 September, 2021
This is a 16-hour Reiki 1 online course, after which participants will be able treat themselves as well as others. The group training and initiation will take place over three days in sessions of 4h each day, with breaks in between, from 18h-22h CET / 09h-13h PST.
Additionally, during the month following the initiation, each participant will schedule 4 (four) 1-hour long individual training sessions with us.
Besides the teaching material used in the course, the participants will receive a Reiki Level 1 Certificate in the Usui Traditional Method (Western) and Usui Reiki Ryoho (Japanese) traditions.

+ 4 one-hour long sessions to be booked individually with us throughout the first month following the initiation (once a week)
